About GALS Charitable Foundation

Mission Statement

Women of today have their own set of unique issues, issues in which we believe GALS Charitable Foundation can assist. In our ever growing fast paced society, the demands made on women are at the highest level yet.

It has been recognized that stress can greatly affect a person's health. Stress factors for women are greater in many areas and women's health can be greatly affected by these factors. These may include the inequality in the workplace, domestic violence, violence and crime outside the home, sexual abuse, alcoholism and/or drug dependency, and disease. GALS Charitable Foundation strives to fill the void and works diligently to financially support those nonprofit organizations which adhere to our values and tenets.

The future belongs to the children; they must be educated and taught about their worth early on. Our children must be taught in a way that they will be empowered to become successful adults. We believe that most of society=s ills stem from a lack of self-worth and self-acceptance. When individuals feel worthy, they can accomplish great things, regardless of their personal circumstances. They do not cave to peer pressure, nor do they compromise their worth by engaging in selfdestructive behaviors.

GALS Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit charitable corporation, strives to financially support various charities which the directors feel epitomize the goals of conquering obstacles in women=s lives, whether those are physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual and of possessing not only a hopeful attitude but a triumphant one as well.

Through the international website, GBGALS.com, GALS Charitable Foundation has the ability to network with ordinary women who have faced extraordinary challenges in their lives. These women have not only faced those personal obstacles, but have risen above their own perceived selflimitations to conquer them.

Through our online auctions, fund raisers, and annual conventions, we are proud to have supported such organizations as the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, which our convention raised more than $11,000 and the Scottish Youth Theatre which has benefited by more than $5,000.

We look forward to your donation as well as adding additional nonprofit organizations to those we currently financially support.

Sincerely,
